National Summertime Pack Award—Keep your Pack going.  Now is the time to plan to plan for the summer months of June, July, and August.  Memorial Day Parades, Cub Scout Day Camp, 4th of July Parades, picnics, baseball game with the Schaumburg Flyers, are just a few of the many things to do this summer.  Summer activities are the best way to keep those new Tiger Cubs active and keep your existing Scouts involved.  Your Scouts will have a head start for the upcoming year.  Have a different person in charge of each activity so that it won’t be too much work for one person.

Did you know that the District web site has a page that lists over 300 Scouting forms? Each form has a description and they are grouped by category. Some night when all that is on TV is reruns, and you want to relax at the computer, pull up the page and read the descriptions, you will probably find out about many programs in Scouting that you know nothing about.

Did you know there is another new merit badge? Visit the National Web site to learn more about the Inventing Merit Badge.
